However, fans are more inclined that the upcoming game was developed by the said developer, since it was also responsible for the original version of the remastered game.Īctivision, the game publisher, has failed to offer an explanation with regards to these rumors.One of the most critically-acclaimed games in history, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is back, remastered in true high-definition, featuring improved textures, physically based rendering, high-dynamic range lighting and much more. It is not known yet if the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" was developed by Infinity Ward, it does rhyme well, but there are other developer studios that also work with the "Call of Duty" titles. The remastered edition is a digital download. The leaked image is for a Legacy Edition for the upcoming game and allegedly, will include a remastered copy of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare," which was released back in 2007. It also contains a few more information, aside from the cover art work, where it says, that the release date for the "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" will be on November 4, the date similar to the previous game releases. Third, another Reddit user posted a leaked cover image for the upcoming game, which seems to be a pre-order promo for a retailer store, Target. The title somehow reinforce the previous rumor, that the next battlefield will be in outer space and well beyond the future. The credibility and the authenticity of the source was never doubted, it was a screen capture of the trending section of the PlayStation Store, where it says "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." This also seems accidental since no other information came along with it, no content, trailer or preview image, as SlashGear reported.
The following day a Reddit user named Goontmyfries posted the upcoming title for the next game of the franchise. The next Call of Duty will apparently get unveiled by next Tuesday.
